Starting point
When the order situation changes, so do staffing requirements. A shift plan created independently of the production orders then no longer fits: lines are understaffed, or qualified employees are missing at the machine where the urgent order is currently running.
How Hawk IVO helps
- Detailed scheduling: Hawk IVO Plan schedules production orders in detail and allocates them in a production-oriented way.
- Machine calendar: The availability of machines and staff is part of the same planning.
- Dynamic requirements: Staffing requirements follow fluctuating order volumes.
- AI features: Forecasts of staffing and production requirements and the optimization of shift and order planning are part of the platform’s scope of services to date.
- At the workplace: Hawk IVO Plan shows teams which orders are pending.
Master data, orders and recorded times come from connected systems such as SAP and other ERP systems, MES and time tracking.
Documented scope
In the agileASSEMBLY research consortium, Hawk IVO Plan connected existing systems at IMS Gear, including SAP and time and attendance, and translated production orders into qualification requirements. On a digital planning board, employees chose their own tasks, and the software checked qualification and availability. Checking qualification requirements for production orders is now part of Hawk IVO Plan.
Prerequisites
You need access to your production orders, for example from SAP or an MES, and a mapping of which activities require which qualifications. We will clarify the right scope for you in a conversation.
