The video case study “AI Workforce Management: when technology is a real help to people” (in German) has been published on the YouTube channel of Hawk Intelligent Technologies GmbH. It was produced in close collaboration with IMS Gear.

Organizing instead of prescribing

As part of the agileASSEMBLY (opens in a new tab) research project, a solution was developed that does not prescribe. It enables employees on the shop floor to organize themselves.

The planning software connects existing data systems, for example SAP, HR software and MES. Production orders are translated into qualification requirements. A dedicated shop floor interface hides the complexity from employees. The results cited in the video are self-organization within the team and planning based on capabilities instead of rigid patterns.

Cedric Oette says in the video: “Es ist ein Miteinander.” (“It’s about working together.”)

Former product names

The video still shows the former product names. The planning software getaiPlan and the shop floor interface getaiSpace are now both part of Hawk IVO Plan.
