Integration into software

Embedding agents in your own software

How software vendors embed agents with Hawk IVO Force and planning with Hawk IVO Scheduler in their product, and what an integration must clarify.

In brief

With Hawk IVO Force, software vendors integrate agent functions into their product without building their own agent platform; Hawk IVO Scheduler adds embeddable time and resource planning. User interface, business logic, data sovereignty and customer relationships stay with the vendor.

With Hawk IVO Force, software vendors can integrate agent functions into their own product without developing their own agent platform. An agent takes on a clearly delegable task from the software, processes it with the software’s permissions and tools and returns a verifiable result. For time and resource planning, Hawk IVO Scheduler is available as an embeddable library. Business logic, user interface and customer relationships stay with the vendor.

Integrate white label. Keep control.

Your team develops the features that distinguish your product. Force supplies the agent platform behind them, from customer provisioning and login to individual experts, operations, consumption and support. You can build on that infrastructure directly.

  • SSO and existing identities: Connect OIDC/SSO to your existing login. Map users and customer tenants explicitly, retaining permissions through business actions.
  • Tenants and user contexts: Provision customer tenants through the ISV API, manage users and keep personal contexts separate. A shared platform supports your offering across customers.
  • SDKs for your interface: Widget, JavaScript, React and headless access for your UI. Connect permitted application context with your business actions.
  • API, CLI and MCP: Programmatic integration, automation and administration. Control platform capabilities through published interfaces and permitted operations.
  • Create and duplicate customer experts: Customers configure experts with their knowledge and working methods. Reuse approved agent and skill templates and adapt them to individual customer needs.
  • Dashboards, oversight and support: Oversee agents, runs, status, errors and consumption. Trace model calls by agent, time, input/output tokens and cost; grant targeted support access.

What embedding should achieve

Your software plans. With Hawk IVO, it gets things done. Behind this idea is a specific integration case: work is taken on from your product and returned in a verifiable form. Whether service, project or administration software, what matters is a task that currently takes measurable effort.

Hawk IVO Force is intended to let you integrate your own agent functions and, where it helps the use case, multiple collaborating agents into your product. A reusable platform is intended to reduce development, integration and operating effort. We will review this benefit together based on your case.

Clear boundaries between your product and Hawk IVO

Embedding only works if responsibilities are clearly allocated.

Your product is responsible for:

  • Your software’s user interface and workflows
  • Data sovereignty, business rules and binding actions
  • Your customer relationships

Hawk IVO takes care of:

  • Agents, skills and knowledge for the delegated task
  • Planning and display logic of Hawk IVO Scheduler

Together, we need to clarify connection, data, permissions and tenants, as well as operation, licensing, support and releases.

Questions an integration needs to answer

Before agents work in a product for many customers, a few questions need to be clarified. We answer them together with you:

  • Embedding: How does the function fit into your user interface and workflows? Data sovereignty, business rules and binding actions remain in the host system.
  • Your own agents: Which agent profiles, which company and customer context, which versioned skills and approved tools are needed?
  • Operation for many customers: How are tenant and user rights, data separation and approvals implemented? How are logging, error recovery and cost control handled?
  • Purchase and integration: Which interfaces, operating model, licensing and support are the right fit? API, SDK, white label and OEM are separate questions.

Embedding planning with Hawk IVO Scheduler

Hawk IVO Scheduler is an embeddable library that displays time, resource and hierarchy plans in the browser. It visualizes and edits large planning views and is used in Hawk IVO Force and Hawk IVO Plan. Typical views are:

  • Time and resource planning: display resources, shifts or machines on the timeline and move them by dragging
  • Hierarchies: display large structures of sites, teams and resources clearly
  • Gantt and Kanban: edit tasks and orders as time bars or on a board

Your product embeds the component and retains its business objects, permissions, dialogs and storage. The library does not assume sovereignty over business data. We will tell you the version, supported frameworks and known limitations in the technical discussion.

From idea to evaluation

The starting point is a clearly scoped integration case:

  1. Choose a task: a clearly delegable task with measurable effort in your product.
  2. Set up a pilot: The agent works with your product’s permissions and tools and returns a verifiable result.
  3. Measure: Integration effort, successful completions, human rework and total costs are recorded.

We agree on licensing, support, updates and delivery based on the reviewed use case. You can find out more about working together in the For software vendors section. For a technical discussion about your product plans, get in touch.
